Join us for a day of fun in the sun as we enjoy an easy hike, delicious picnic, ice breaker games and raffle prizes. It will be a great way to get outdoors, enjoy the beauty of the Jersey shore and meet new people, all at the same time!
We will meet at the Visitor's Center and do an easy, flat 3 mile walk along the beach and thru the trails to Guardian Park. There you will enjoy a sumptuous picnic including sandwiches, salads, snacks, soft drinks (alcohol is not permitted in the park) and desserts. We'll play icebreaker games, tour the Fort and have lots of raffle prizes. You are welcome to bring frisbees and any other outdoor games you would like to play. You may also want to bring a hiking chair or blanket to relax in the sun. It's sure to a great day!

Single Mingle at the NJ Food Bank

Over 70 people attended the Single Mingle at the NJ Food Bank!
Join us on Saturday, March 20 from 10 am to 2 pm at the Community Food Bank of NJ in Hillside, NJ for a great day of meeting new people and helping the community.
First, you'll be treated to a continental breakfast and ice breaker games. Then you'll see a short video explaining how the Food Bank helps feed 500,000 NJ residents each year. Then we'll go into the Food Bank's warehouse to help clean and pack canned goods for distribution to soup kitchens, churches, etc. And finally, we'll reconvene for dessert and raffle prizes in our party room.
Raffle tickets can be purchased at the event and 100% of the proceeds from raffle sales go to the Food Bank.
Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door (space permitting).
There are only 50 spaces, so hurry to register for one of the coveted spaces at this popular event! It's always a highlight of our event schedule and attendees often say that they leave feeling happy that they came! The next event at the Food Bank will be in May.
